Winter		Who's Fault Is It? by Cynthia St Charles From the Hand Painted Gallery Size in inches: 20 x 28 Price: $1,500 This quilt is part of the traveling exhibit "Proverbial Challenge - Riddle Me This". The object was to create a quilt that answers a riddle. Riddle: "What did one tectonic plate say to the other tectonic plate?" Answer: "Who's Fault Is It?" This quilt is composed of cotton fabrics hand dyed and hand painted to represent the various rock layers exposed in a fault line. Geologists have identified fossilized sea creatures, dinosaur bones, limestone, sandstone, dolomite, shale, granite, sandstone, and conglomerate rock left exposed by uplifts and erosion.
