The Rorschach Inkblot Test is a commonly used psychological projective test in which the subject is asked to tell what they see in a series of inkblot images. The "inkblots" and pole wrapped shibori border were created by discharging black cotton. It has been machine quilted. Each "page" is attached with snaps, making them removable and therefore, interactive to engage the viewer on tactile, visual, emotional, and cognitive levels.
