Artquilts in the Tyvek Gallery: All Alone and Blue Doodles #1 The Last IQ Test Mystic Seagrass Rise of the Phoenix Zinnia Garden Cross Section		Mystic Seagrass by Cynthia St Charles From the Tyvek Gallery Size in inches: 11 x 24 Price: $350 The design for "Mystic Seagrass" was generated by one of my favorite doodles. Similar designs have appeared along the margins of many of my notebook pages through the years! Hand painted Tyvek® was sandwiched between two pieces of hand dyed fabric for the reverse appliqué process. Parts of the top layer were cut away to reveal the Tyvek® underneath. After quilting, the piece was heated with an iron to melt the Tyvek®, revealing the hand dyed fabric underneath.
